DEI Tools for managers
New insights based on academic research
Academic research is the foundation of everything we do. In our trainings participants get new insights and are introduced to research based findings presented in the form of stories, case descriptions and exercises. We translate research findings to a language and to tools that are easy for managers to link to and use in their daily work.
Own reflections and emotions: psychologically safe interactive trainings
Our workshops are highly engaging and interactive. The purpose is for all participants to be able to share thoughts and ideas, and to reflect over themselves and their teams. For us it is also central that participants can recognize and reflect over the many feelings diversity and inclusion may evoke in them.
Insights put into practice: designing solutions to work life scenarios
Research has shown that unconscious bias trainings that merely focus on raising awareness of unconscious biases can have undesired effects and may even increase bias. Central to our trainings is linking the understanding of unconscious bias to real life situations and solutions. We work with examples from current work life that allow participants to plan solutions both on organizational and individual levels. This way we guarantee that participants truly link the new insights directly to their work.
We’ll concentrate, for example, on the following topics:
-
✺ What are we talking about when we talk about diversity and inclusion?
-
✺How does diversity and inclusion strengthen our organisation? What challenges diversity and inclusion?
-
✺ How does DEI competence strengthen my success in my managerial role?
-
✺ How do I integrate DEI into my work and leadership in practice?
We’d love to hear more about your organisation’s needs and discuss solutions together! Please get in touch with us about our inclusive team trainings.
The training can be organised in your office or online, whatever best suits your team.
All of the course material is customisable, to best fit your training needs and ideas. We use fully tailored scenarios to discuss work-related situations, that may challenge DEI in your organisation.
In the three-hour workshop, leaders get an opportunity to plan concrete solutions related to their own frontline work, for example recruiting, leading team meetings, or giving feedback.
In order to guarantee a safer and inclusive training experience, the number of participants in the workshop is limited to 25 people.
